Books
Recommended books about intuitive skills, dealing with grief, and the realms of mediumship:
George Dalzell: "Messages, Evidence for Life After Death." Anyone who has had the experience of becoming a medium following the loss of someone close to them will learn a great deal about themselves, and about George himself, by reading this book. As a licensed clinical social worker, George Dalzell has spent many, many years in the healing profession offering guidance and clarity. George is a dear and trusted friend and you can visit him online at www.georgedalzell.com: Tell him that Sally sent you!
Masuro Emoto: "Messages From Water". The photographs of the water crystals in this book are amazing to look at, and Emoto's work helps us to understand the profound impact of our intent and how it is projected upon all living things. He also reminds us of how we impact music and art and photography with the power of our consciousness.
Leslie Garrett : "The Virtuous Consumer: Your Essential Shopping Guide for a Better, Kinder, Healthier World." Lesilie has written a lovely guide to assist us in making choices in our everday lives that are socially and environmentally conscious. She also blogs at www.virtuousconsumer.com.
Mark Ireland: "Soul Shift: Finding Where the Dead Go." Mark's book is highly regarded, authentic, scientific in its approach, and very healing.
Recommended books for better bonding between patients and health care professionals:
Allan J. Hamilton, M.D. F.A.C.S. : "The Scalpel and the Soul: Encounters with Surgery, The Supernatural, and the Healing Power of Hope."
Loren Eskenazi, M.D., F.A.C.S. : "More Than Skin Deep: Exploring the Real Reasons Why Women Go Under the Knife" and "Reconstructing Aphrodite." I was most fortunate to work for many years for Loren Eskenazi, a nationally known artist, and Stanford-trained plastic and reconstructive surgeon. Essential reading for breast cancer patients and those considering transformational surgery. More about Lauren can be found on her website: www.transformationalsurgery.com.
If you are looking for additional reading, viewing the sites of the people on my Mediumship Links page will help you with further book suggestions. I am currently writing my own book that focuses on what happens to people AFTER a reading takes place. I also concentrate on the powerful confirmational effect of synchronicity, signs, and dreams. I am interviewing many clients about their own experiences with their loved-ones who no longer linger in a body, and these people have amazing stories to tell. I am very grateful that they are willing to share their stories so that my book will be a way for their healing to be an inspiration to others. Hopefully, I will have completed this book-in-progress by the end of 2009!
If you are interested in reading a recent article about my process, I was interviewed by a young woman for this great magazine created for young girls transforming their way into womanhood. Check out their web site and watch for interviews and articles: www.newmoongirls.com.
Movies
People often ask me how I relax after doing readings, and the truth is that I am somewhat of a couch potato and an old movie addict. I also like junk food. There are some really great movies that anyone interested in life after death, consciousness, paranormal abilities, dreams, spirit interaction, and love might be interested in. I have kept a long list scribbled on a scrap of paper for many years to remind myself of the title, the actors, and the year the movie was made. I don't always have all the pertinent information, but I am sure you can hunt these films down via their titles. A lot of them are carried on VHS via Amazon.com. Some of the movies have been remade more than once over the decades with new actors and new twists to the plots. Here are some of my favorites, and please let me know if you have some favorite movies of your own to offer, as well!
