Books
Clients always want to know what great books there are to read that will help them with developing their own intuitive skills, dealing with grief, and the realms of mediumship. Other than the books listed on my Links page, and the books recommended on the sites of the people I link to, I really don't have any personal favorites that have been a huge help to me. Looking at the sites of the people on my Mediumship Links page will not only help you to get to know them, but they have their own book suggestions, other links, and several resources that will help many people. Go check them out! I am currently writing my own book that focuses on what happens to people AFTER a reading takes place. I also concentrate on the powerful confirmational effect of synchronicity, signs, and dreams. I am interviewing many clients about their own experiences with their loved-ones who no longer linger in a body, and these people have amazing stories to tell. I am very grateful that they are willing to share their stories so that my book will be a way for their healing to be an inspiration to others. Hopefully, I will have completed this book-in-progress by the end of 2007!
I do highly admire the work of Masuro Emoto and his books titled: "Messages From Water". The photographs of the water crystals are amazing to look at, and his work helps us to understand the profound impact of our intent and how it is projected upon all living things, and he also reminds us of how we impact music and art and photography with the power of our consciousness.
I also recommend George Dalzell's book "Messages, Evidence for Life After Death." Anyone who has had the experience of becoming a medium following the loss of someone close to them will learn a great deal about themselves, and about George himself, by reading his book. As a licensed clinical social worker, George has spent many, many years in the healing profession offering guidance and clarity.
Movies
People often ask me how I relax after doing readings, and the truth is that I am somewhat of a couch potato and an old movie addict. I also like junk food. There are some really great movies that anyone interested in life after death, consciousness, paranormal abilities, dreams, spirit interaction, and love might be interested in. I have kept a long list scribbled on a scrap of paper for many years to remind myself of the title, the actors, and the year the movie was made. I don't always have all the pertinent information, but I am sure you can hunt these films down via their titles. A lot of them are carried on VHS via Amazon.com. Some of the movies have been remade more than once over the decades with new actors and new twists to the plots. Here are some of my favorites, and please let me know if you have some favorite movies of your own to offer, as well!
